The battle for the Run for Home Corporate Trophy is designed to encourage your company employees to begin an exercise program and participate in one of the Run for Home events.  We believe this is a great opportunity to encourage participation in company wellness programs or simply promote physical fitness!  This award is based entirely on participation.  The more people who participate and the more miles they complete, the better your chances of winning!

Here’s how it works: 

Sign-up as a Run for Home Sponsor:  In order to be eligible for the Charles mackey award, a company must be a Run For Home sponsor. All sponsors are eligible for the award.  Employees of sponsors receive a 25% discount on registration fees for the half-marathon, team-relay, and five-mile walk.  (The discount does not apply to the one-mile fun run.)

The Charles Mackey Award is based purely on participation.  The sponsor whose employees complete the most miles in all Run for Home events will win!   Participants must be employees of a sponsor to be eligible for the registration discount and to earn points for their team.

The award is named after Charles Mackey, an avid runner who passed away in 2009.
