KIDS' RUN The Kids’ Run is a fun event for the little ones that follows a short course inside Tuscora Park. This is a free event with no registration required. All participants will receive a ribbon and lots of applause and cheers at the finish line. The run will begin at 9:45 AM on Saturday, April 6 near the park pavilion. Run for Home Festival Challenge All participants who COMPLETE the 10K and half-marathon will receive an exclusive Run for Home Challenge vest! Top three men and top three womnen in the Challenge will receive special awards. Everyone who registers for both events will be entered in the Challenge. 10K The race starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 6 in Tuscora Park. Click here to download the 10k course map. ONE-MILE FUN RUN / WALK The one-mile fun run / walk is a fun event for participants of all ages. All participants receive a t-shirt. Awards will be presented for the top overall finishers and ribbons for top three in each age group (No times will be posted). The route will take participants through and around Tuscora Park. HALF-MARATHON The race starts at 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 7 in Tuscora Park and winds
its way on a certified course through the streets and parks of New Philadelphia
before finishing inside Woody Hayes Quaker Stadium in Tuscora Park. Finishers will receive a medal. Click here to download a PDF of the course map. THREE PERSON TEAM RELAY The Union Hospital Run for Home includes a three-person team relay that follows the certified 13.1 mile half-marathon route and starts at 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 7. FIVE-MILE WALK A recreational event for individuals and families designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and support Habitat for Humanity. The five-mile walk will start with the half-marathon and team-relay at 11:00 AM and follow a portion of the half-marathon route before finishing inside Tuscora Park near the park pavilion. All participants receive a t-shirt. The 2019 walk will be a timed event and awards will be presented to the top three male and top three female finishers. To be eligible for an award, participants must walk the entire route. To assist observers on the course, walkers must wear bib numbers on both their back and front. |
